Copenhagen Cool!

So Copenhagen and Stockholm have just had their fashion weeks and from what i have seen they are very promising, but this post i will dedicate wholly to Copenhagen, because frankly i haven't yet seen enough of Stockholm to make a relevant contribution in writing.  So the first port of call is a new label to me but one i won't be forgetting the labels called 'Wood Wood' and the two designers behind it are Karl-Oskar and Brian Jensen [no relation to Peter that i know of?] the brand is based around clean design and street style, Wood Wood have collaborated with major brands such Adidas and Nike and have succeeded in making sportswear beautifully cool.  So what do they offer you for spring/summer 11 well, wonderful 90's-esque prints and shapes in that tracksuit type tackiness that the nineties did provide us with, although these clothes have more of a cool edge with that slouchy coolness certain people pull off. So here you go amazingly cool t-shirt dresses, high waists, big jumpers, short shorts, tracksuits.......

So the next stop on this tour of Scandinavian genius is a thing not to be missed ex-chanel model turned designer Stine Goya, Goya studied at Central St Martins and began her own line in 2006, i admit i only came across this label last season but i instantly fell in love.  And the latest collection doesn't disappoint complete with flower headdresses this collection features cute prints in pastels and corals, bold prints in black and white, and plain pieces in beautiful cuts.  For proper insight into Stine Goya's inspiration and collections check out Goya's simply splendid website: www.stinegoya.com/page/about. But first here's a small peek at the 40 piece strong collection.

So our final stop will be a label that consists of three sisters who play with fantasy, magic and fairytale's to produce designs for their innovative collections for their label 'Minimarket' , this time round they have produced a truly tropical collection [no i didn't expect to type that either].  The headdresses were here as well but aswell as flowers these models donned feathers, sticks and leaves, they also wore pristine prints, cool cuts, amazing glasses i really can't express in words how happy this collection has made me it has everything and fills me with excitement each time i look at it so with out further ado i will let the clothes do the talking because they will tell you all you need to know about Minimarket....
