My next splendid subject will be The Local Firm a very Swedish label what i mean by that is, they use that very Scandinavian clean cut, minimal design in they're collections. Their concept is inspired by art, architecture and design from the former east-block. All the collections clearly show their inspiration and none more than the latest, which is mainly made up of basic colours such as black's, grey's, beige's and brown's but don't be fooled, the simplicity is a stroke of genius in these recently heavily patterned predictably floral summers. So here we go again another glimpse of a collection for you to swoon over.
And so we come to Whyred, established on the style values of the modernist and with the design philosophy; “Clean living under difficult circumstances” i really can't say much more to describe this amazing label apart from every single thing in the s/s 11 collection anyone could more than happily wear and look really really cool. I will leave it there and leave it to you to look at the collection and come to your own conclusion. I'm not good at summing up so i will quote dazeddigital.com as i can't think of anything more fitting: 'All in all, this was another stellar outing for Scandinavian fashion.'
