The Big Apples, Big Treats...

So New York fashion week ceases tomorrow and we will be moving to London on the 17th, how exciting but before we move on i feel i need to contribute at least one post about this joyous week in fashion, i was planning on reviewing day by day but my blog has been neglected as i have gone back to college this week and my time has flown by.  So before i begin i will say i haven't seen all the collections i want to just yet [so please make any  suggestions of collections you have seen that would be worth while me checking out]. So here we go my first stop will be Peter Som my absolute favourite of the week he created a wonderful collection i don't think i can manage to chose my favourite out of all the looks but i will try, i urge you to check out the entire collection at vogue.co.uk [just a tip if you want to see any of the collections from New York or the up and coming fashion weeks vogue.co.uk post the entire collections look by look just hours after the shows - it is excellent!] anyway back to this never ending sentence [insert your own pauses where you feel necessary] Som's collection is filled with amazing almost acid bright's of every colour you can think of, he has created exquisite prints, and the whole thing was styled beautifully the whole sha bang was absolute understated awesomeness.

Next Rodarte oh what to say always pleasing me can they do nothing wrong well going by their latest instalment the answer is still a resounding no. Full of earthy shades with a hint of shine the clothes were SO good, not only eye pleasing but to my 1 year trained pattern cutting eye incredibly complicated to construct, but that appeared not to be a problem as they reeled off piece after piece of innovation.  As the models walked in their shiny outfits they donned gold lipstick, eye-shadow and sun kissed hair they look like a new breed of warrior women.  Here's a glimpses that will make you ache to see more more more...

I will leave it there for now but will fingers crossed will do a conclusion-al post on New York tomorrow, until then here are a few other collections i recommend you check out in full...
